This limited edition Letterpress Broadside of a Spring lamb and its mama was created using the reduction block method, where I carved a linoleum block between each ink color pass. I did 4 passes on an antique Vandercook press, using 4 increasingly darker shades of grey. It is so much fun to watch the final product emerge as the ink is layered on!
